GTC conducts static pile load tests for the worlds largest single-site solar park - Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is the world largest single-site solar park based on the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model, spreading over a total area of 77 km² in Saih Al-Dahal, about 60 kilometers south of Dubai City Centre. The plant was implemented by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), with the total investments of AED 50 billion ($13.6 Billions), as part of the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 to support the sustainable development. When completed in 2030, with capacity of 5GW, it will save over 6.5 million tons of carbon emissions annually.

GTC is very proud to support this privilege and mega-scale project. We have scheduled to conduct static pile load tests for 2 phases,  including compressive, tensile, and lateral loading tests on bore piles, micro piles, and C-channels beams, as well as pile integrity tests. The total number of piles that will be tested and inspected will be up to more than 34000 piles.
